Our Story
At BearlyBrand, pride is more than a rainbow once a year — it’s a permanent state of mind.
Founded in 2015 by Joshua Lipka, BearlyBrand was born as an outlet for unapologetic creative expression and a love letter to the Gay Bear Community that welcomed him with open arms.
What started with just a few bold designs quickly became a movement. One shirt went viral, spreading through the bear crowd faster than a kennel cough at a bear run (we said what we said). From that moment, Joshua knew the mission was clear: create fierce, conversation-starting apparel that celebrates Bear Pride and the wider LGBTQIA+ family, every damn day.
Since then, BearlyBrand has evolved, grown, and gone through a few fabulous facelifts, but one thing has always stayed the same: PRIDE. We’ve been featured in online editorials and are working on future collaborations with partner brands that align with our mission to uplift queer self-expression.
